Soc’s letter to Jimmy Carter and Carter’s response.

Soc never did get an honorable discharge. His kids could not get US citizenship because Soc’s time in the army didn’t count as a US citizen, and as he went in the Army at the ripe old age of 17 years and one month, he didn’t live long enough in the USofA for his kids to qualify and for him to get a US pension.
